Rusutsu is situated southwest of Sapporo taking 90min by bus. Rusutsu Resort is easily accessible, a 2 hours ride from Sapporo Chitose Airport by shuttle bus.
Rusutsu is a three-peak resort with 42 km of groomed runs with 17-lift systems linking the areas and using mainly gondolas and hooded all quad chairs. The ski areas are well protected from wind, resulting in some of the best quality powder in the world.
Rusutsu boasts the best tree skiing in the region, set in a stunning landscape with great views of Lake Toya and Mt.Yotei.

Given the most crowded period, there are never any lift queues at Rusutsu as the maximum capacity of the hotels are nowhere near the hourly lift system capability of 30,300 people.
Thus making it one of Japan's most relaxed and enjoyable ski destinations. Kutchan is a nearby town 30min by bus, offering a wide variety of speciality shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment.
Niseko is just an hour away by bus, it is convenient for those who wish to vary their skiing experience.
