Keisei Narita Sky Access AE seriesKeisei Electric Railway’s new express service train, Narita Sky Access, will enter service in July, connecting Narita Airport Terminal 2 Station in Chiba and Nippori Station, downtown Tokyo, in just 36 minutes. It terminates at Keisei Ueno Terminal, one stop after Nippori Station, taking approximately another 2 minutes.

The all-new AE100 Skyliner, will operate at a speed of up to 160 km/h, running along the Hokusō Line and a newly-formed extension from Inba Nihon Idai Station to the airport creating a nearly straight line, allowing it to achieve a much shorter time, 15 minutes faster than the current 51 minutes predecessor, Keisei Skyliner Express train, where it takes a longer arch-shaped route and sharing with local Keisei trains on the same track. The present Skyliner Express train will cease service once Narita Sky Access begins operation. There is no changes to Keisei’s local trains and will still operate on its current route.
